Two, four, or six fans can be mounted in the rack cabinets, depending on the number and heating capacity of the devices to be installed. Fan modules with thermostats are recommended.
In addition to the outlet required for the devices in the cabinet, it is recommended to install power distribution units with two additional outlets for potential use. Power distribution units can be fused or unfused. PDUs are available with 3, 6, 8, 9, and 12 sockets. When choosing a circuit breaker in the PDU, system safety must be considered. The most suitable power distribution models for network cabinets are 19" and 6" fused outlets and 19" and 8" unfused aluminum outlets.
The number of fixed or sliding shelves required should be determined based on the total number of devices. Shelves are available in three different sizes and two different types (fixed and sliding), depending on the cabinet depth. 19" rackmount shelves are mounted on the front sides and are used in wall-mounted cabinets. 1U250 rack shelves can be used in Soho cabinets.
Cable management panels are used to ensure aesthetic appeal and optimal cable organization. Panels can be vertical or horizontal. Vertical cable management can only be used in 800 mm wide rack cabinets. Horizontal cable management panels are available with five hooks, coated, and brushed. For vertical installation, a single cable management panel and cable tray can be used in 600 mm wide cabinets.
